Beer Festival

Beer Festival - Lots of bearded old man, sporting rather large beer-filled bellies drink themselves silly on exotic Beers from around GB (and world!). Altogether it was a little disappointing to be standing in a large airport hanger with a lot of old men, standing around and joining booze-queues when the sun was shining outside. The atmosphere was almost non-existent. So we drank-up and departed.

"When you have to shoot, shoot, don't talk." - The Somerset House makeshift movie theatre visits the 16th century palace for another year. We watched the Good, the Bad and the Ugly a wonderfully dead-pan, funny flick. The BBC/Yahoo Hackday beanbags I grabbed this year were the perfect accessory to avoid growing a nasty bout of cold stone cobbled piles.

Boo to Man U

Boo to Man U - I really despise Manchester United, made especially worse as I watched them win the Community Shield surrounded by their fans. My seat in the new Wembley was awesome though. We sat in a box and marvelled at the magnificent stadium, minus the prawn sandwiches of course.
