echovelle play
echovelle play - A friend's band, echovelle play up in Islington. You can definitely hear echos of Radiohead in their songs, it's quite spaced, ambiant stuff at times. They pulled in a pretty good crowd as well !
the Fugazees after a crushing win
the Fugazees after a crushing win - Here we see the Fugs (from left): Mike, Dr. Dave, Dr. Phil and Lizaroo after they inflicted a crushing defeat against the opposing Frisbee team. Don't be fooled by the athlete's water bottles, on closer inspection you will be able to see cans of grandpa's old cough medicine.

a Southbank mime
a Southbank mime - For every summer I've lived in London, the NFT on the south shores of the Themes has been a hive of activity. For once I actually decided to sit and watch one of the acts which perform there. It was an amusing set of silent skits, bar the brief musical interlude, pitting two competitive tennis players against each other, but in many instances their faulty sporting hardware as well.

naughty Darms
naughty Darms - I promised I'd not show anyone this picture, but as the prime suspect is safely holed-up in a foreign land, it's probably alright to finally reveal the truth behind the "papering of the desk". What you see in the picture is only the half of it, absolutely everything was covered in our company paper. And of course, everything was recycled by the unlucky victim.
a Croat, a Yorkshireman and a Canadian...
a Croat, anYorkshireman and a Canadian... - The unlikely trio headed North to experience some of Cumbria's finest Kodak moments. This photo finds us in picturesque town outside Sellafield, a wonderful spot were it not for a huge nuclear reactor on our doorstep. Everyone in the town seemed to work at the site with all of them displaying the odd behaviour twitch... or bald patch.
a tale of two scallies...
a tale of two scallies... - It's funny and horrific in equal quantities. The tale of the two lads in a Crawley park, their sisters in tow and a 125cc bone shaker which is being used to propel a roundabout - whatever happened to elbow grease.... the video has obviously made the usual office email rounds, but I snapped this picture from a local rag a week or so later. Seems the Police are in touch with today's technology.
