beyond Barcelona

dots
beyond Barcelona - Found in a Notting Hill bar toilet, this quaint inscription advertises the beautiful 11th century Catalan town of La Bisbal d'Empordà. Clearly the hook worked.

carnival vagrants

dots
carnival vagrants - These two vagrants would put on a little dance for you with their terrier dog (who was by the way, gnawing on the wrists of his captor throughout) and then make demands for a ciggie.

carnival people

dots
carnival people - Throngs of carnival goers suddenly get in front of my carefully planned shot.

goodbye Candahar!

dots
goodbye Candahar! - I'll miss my lovely house and housemates. I wont however miss the sheer amount of cleaning that was required for check-out with the letting agents. 3 solid days! It was like having a report card done on all our hard work.

a new room with a view

dots
a new room with a view - Yes, it's goodbye to my wonderful place in Little India and onwards to my new room with a view. I'm quite chuffed - I can see the coolest building in South London, Battersea Power Station.

when in London...

dots
when in London... - you'll be mostly minding the gap.

"I'm not going to hurt you Wendy."

dots
"I'm not going to hurt you Wendy." - "I'm just gonna bash your brains in. I'm gonna bash them right the fuck in!". Watching The Shining at Somerset House, with the wind howling around the 17th century courtyard and the rain lashing our poor bodies. How apt.

echovelle play

dots
echovelle play - A friend's band, echovelle play up in Islington. You can definitely hear echos of Radiohead in their songs, it's quite spaced, ambiant stuff at times. They pulled in a pretty good crowd as well !

the Fugazees after a crushing win

dots
the Fugazees after a crushing win - Here we see the Fugs (from left): Mike, Dr. Dave, Dr. Phil and Lizaroo after they inflicted a crushing defeat against the opposing Frisbee team. Don't be fooled by the athlete's water bottles, on closer inspection you will be able to see cans of grandpa's old cough medicine.

Orbital one, but a goodie

dots
Orbital one, but a goodie - A blast from the past, found rotting on some knackered computer drive. This taken just before we all ventured out to see Orbital play The Altogether tour in 2001. From Left: Patterz, Claire, Bowser, Emma, Bonkers, Corf and the Shoez.

a Southbank mime

dots
a Southbank mime - For every summer I've lived in London, the NFT on the south shores of the Themes has been a hive of activity. For once I actually decided to sit and watch one of the acts which perform there. It was an amusing set of silent skits, bar the brief musical interlude, pitting two competitive tennis players against each other, but in many instances their faulty sporting hardware as well.

naughty Darms

dots
naughty Darms - I promised I'd not show anyone this picture, but as the prime suspect is safely holed-up in a foreign land, it's probably alright to finally reveal the truth behind the "papering of the desk". What you see in the picture is only the half of it, absolutely everything was covered in our company paper. And of course, everything was recycled by the unlucky victim.

a Croat, a Yorkshireman and a Canadian...

dots
a Croat, anYorkshireman and a Canadian... - The unlikely trio headed North to experience some of Cumbria's finest Kodak moments. This photo finds us in picturesque town outside Sellafield, a wonderful spot were it not for a huge nuclear reactor on our doorstep. Everyone in the town seemed to work at the site with all of them displaying the odd behaviour twitch... or bald patch.

a tale of two scallies...

dots
a tale of two scallies... - It's funny and horrific in equal quantities. The tale of the two lads in a Crawley park, their sisters in tow and a 125cc bone shaker which is being used to propel a roundabout - whatever happened to elbow grease.... the video has obviously made the usual office email rounds, but I snapped this picture from a local rag a week or so later. Seems the Police are in touch with today's technology.

Steve-o holes out from 20 yards...

dots
Steve-o holes out from 20 yards... - ... actually he didn't; he 3 jabbed it all the way to the hole. A quite horrible display of putting excellence.
