desperate for the Blunt

dots
desperate for the Blunt - Look at these fools. Desperate to catch a glimpse, crowds gathered outside Hyde Park to catch sight of middle England's middle man James Blunt play the Wireless "festival". Being less than enthused at the Army mans set, I opted to sit and eat turf (I was close to eating my own liver).

Neo hipster

dots
Neo hipster - And now something from a friend: This character materialized at the New Years Eve party at exactly 22:14:59 in relaxed mode. History of the subject unknown, but the only giveaway is a flower ring on his right hand and yellowish colour on his fingers suggesting loyal idealism towards fading neo-hippie movement. And finally the cardboard box comes in place as no doubt "magic" box full of psychedelic music CDs, hippie wigs, Mexican Ponchos, hemp.....

sad robot

dots
sad robot - This has to be one of my favourite bits of graffiti. I found it outside Waterloo station years ago, and something about it just intrigues me. Its frugal simplicity, perfect proportionality or the unhappy yet charming nature of the subject. Kind of like The Smiths I guess!

Lofty ideals

dots
Lofty ideals - A placard, 7 stories up demanding "Living Wage NOW!". Well they may be appealing to the right crowd in my office, but really. What is the point ?

Confusing signs

dots
Confusing signs - Open. Go In. Stop! Private Residence. Oh, and an advert for some hard cheese on the locked door.

Qualiteeeee ?

dots
Qualiteeeee ? - I would hazard a guess at Roy & Denise being far from 'QUALITEE'. In fact, I would go so far as saying they will be apoplectically garbage. I mean Denise looks like a vampire; as a perceptive young gentleman from the 'Britpop' band Menswear once said "if you ever walk into a room and feel like you've lost a pint of blog, then avoid those people". Quite.

opportunity or not...

dots
opportunity or not... - I'm taking the photo anyhow. An example of the unsophisticated 'gorilla' dispatch increasingly found on the walls and by the sides of their more refined colleagues - the marketing campaigns - in London.

eat remote

dots
eat remote - Man forced to eat remote (Sky) against his will - a variation on the "eat dirt" theme.
