Ta Prohm

Ta Prohm - I snapped this in Ta Prohm, which would turn out to be the final temple we would explore. Seen in the quickly disappearing daylight, we had to travel deep into the jungle some way from the other temples. We gave ourselves a good dousing of deet before venturing in. You got the impression this is, to a limited degree the condition the first explorers found the ruins in. Thick, ancient though manicured jungle surround the temple and huge trees live on top of or sprout from the centre of buildings which apparently date from 1186!
